What do glitter polish, queer teen love, and searching for home have in common?

What do glitter polish, queer teen love, and searching for home have in common?

Find out April 30 at Twilight Gallery! Mark your calendar for the first reading of work from my Young Adult novel-in-progress. This contemporary realistic tale has something for you whether you went to high school before cellphones or currently attend Feminist Club at lunch.

In addition, I'm thrilled to share the stage with a few local teen writers who I have the privilege of friendship and mentorship with through Young Women Empowered. Aisha Al-Amin, Namaka Auwae-Dekker, and Katie Kreimer, will open the night with their own creative writing.

This event is a fundraiser to support my writing. Funds raised through donations and drinks will make it possible for me to attend the Lambda Literary Writing Retreat this summer. Any additional funds raised will help me afford fees for writing courses, fellowship and graduate school applications.
